Where we give back

Giving back to marginalized communities is a cornerstone of the work we do at Overseasoned, and we’re grateful to be able to do it. Five of our collections give back a portion of proceeds to organizations out there doing the work. 

 

The Smash the Garlic and the Patriarchy collection gives back 15% of proceeds to Planned Parenthood, a national organization doing everything they can to protect abortion access for all people.

The Ice Cream for Reproductive Justice collection gives back a total of 20% of profits. 10% of the proceeds from each sale go to Sister Song, a Southern-based organization working to build an effective network to improve policies and systems that impact the reproductive lives of marginalized communities. Another 10% from each sale is donated to the Lilith Fund which works to support the rights of all Texans to make their own reproductive choices. 

The Hot Girls Eat Bread collection donates 10% of profits to the World Central Kitchen Organization.

The Restore Reproductive Liberty collection gives back 10% of sales to AllPaths Family Building, a non-profit that serves New England families. Their mission is to create a caring community for all people struggling with fertility and family building by providing the psychosocial support, educational resources, and advocacy that are critical to those trying to grow their families. 

 5% of profits from the Well Read and Well Fed collection go to First Book, a nonprofit that distributes books and educational resources to schools and libraries in low-income communities across the U.S. and Canada.
